I, MOM: In Memory of Mothers is a collaborative art installation drawing attention the maternal health crisis in the U.S. and honoring the women who have needlessly lost their lives in pregnancy and childbirth.

For I, MOM to realize its vision, we need people to create and donate dolls for this installation. GET INVOLVED!

The Project

24 out of every 100,000 children born in the USA in 2011 lost their mothers in childbirth, or shortly thereafter.

The Center for Disease Control lists 2/3 of those maternal deaths as “entirely preventable."

640 mothers died from inadequate care and negligence in America last year.
